Down payment assistance up to $10,000 at zero percent for five years; then repaid at 6% over 25 years, and closing cost assistance (up to $1,500 grant) for persons at or below 70% of area median income who have not owned a home in the last three years in their own name. Housing counseling, homeownership training and other down-payment assistance programs available.

SWIC's sister organization, Southwest Neighborhood Housing constructs new housing units and rehabilitates existing housing for families at or below 40% to 80% of Denver's Area Median Income.

Senior Home Repair Program
With Denver Urban Renewal Authority, SWIC helps area seniors receive deferred loans at zero or very low percent to repair owner-occupied dwellings. Priority for disabled and very low income.

SWIC Power Hour Kids Club
Free After-School Club that meets every Tuesday and Wednesday from 4 pm to 5 pm. We have a nutritious snack, then do various activities that include open gym time and community service oriented events.
