the zoning on their property. When this happens, the neighbors are
notified by a large sign posted on the property. Pay attention to

THE PEACE:
Any of the following may be reported: neighbors fighting, loud
parties, barking dogs, and loud music.Police will take your complaint
more seriously when you give your name and tell them you are willing

DEAD
ANIMAL PICKUP: 303-640-2136 for roadkill and related.
TRASH IN YARDS:
Denver residents must keep their yards reasonably clean. This means
cutting grass and weeds, and not storing junk in the yard. To report
a trashy yard, call Neighborhood Inspection Services at 720-865-3200

ABANDONED
CARS:
Sometimes people leave cars in their yards. You cannot park a
car on your yard or lawn. Cars must be on paved or graveled surfaces,
and there is a limit to how many cars each home can have. For further

CRIME
AND CRIME PREVENTION:
is everyone's concern. To report a crime in progress, call 911. To
get information about crime issues, call the Denver Police Non Emergency
Number, 720-913-2000. You can ask for an officer to meet with you
and your neighbors and discuss crime prevention techniques. |
DRUGS:
If you suspect drug use, please report the address to the Denver Police.
You can remain anonymous. Give the address, vehicle license places,
descriptions of suspects, and any other identifying information.
VIOLENCE:
The police will help you with crimes of violence. If you hear
or see a violent incident, please call 911 immediately and give the
details. If you want to report a domestic violence situation, call
Denver Police Dispatch at
